A Vauxhall, Christ Church family still trying to cope with the shooting death of a key bread-winner is also now trying to come to grips with the fatal shooting of the victim’s teenage daughter in the United States…although they say a video now being circulated on social media in relation to the US incident is a hoax.
It was a month ago, the afternoon of June 14th that well-known figure in the Vauxhall community, Orlando Forde, alias Landa, was gunned down near his residence at Vauxhall, Christ Church. That was the 29th homicide here for the year and a killing for which no one has as yet been arrested.
A close relative of Mr. Forde confirmed to Starcom Network News that his 17-year-old daughter, Tatianne Simmeon, was gunned down in Florida, ironically on the same day that her father was being laid to rest here in Barbados…although they don’t believe the two incidents are connected. She asked us not to use the name since Mr. Forde’s death is still an active investigation and the killer is still on the loose.
