One of this country’s top hoteliers says Barbados is expecting a record year for visitor arrivals including a solid Crop Over.
Sunil Chatrani, the immediate past President of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association, and CEO of the Elegant Hotels Group tells Starcom Network News, that Barbados has been on an upward trend in terms of tourism numbers and looks set to continue this year.
Mr. Chatrani, the Caribbean Hotelier of the Year for 2019, adds that there’s no major fall-out so far from overseas media coverage of the disappearance of a New Jersey couple while jet-skiing here in Barbados. But he thinks there are important lessons Barbados can learn from the incident.
