Starting today, the public will have access to 24-hour care at the Winston Scott Polyclinic at Jemmott’s Lane, St. Michael.
Speaking at the launch of the service this morning Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic said 24-hour service at state-run clinics is critical for those who cannot afford private medical care.
He added that the David Thompson Health and Social Services Complex in St. John will soon also offer 24-hour service, but there are some matters that need to be addressed first.
