Former government senator under the previous Democratic Labour Party administration, Jeptor Ince, is calling on government to fulfil its promise of reinstating pension to those who already receive National Insurance disability benefits.

This follows Minister of Labour, Colin Jordan’s assurance that this would be done, after admitting that the move was an error on government’s part.

However, many pensioners are yet to receive their full benefits.

Speaking today at the Democratic Labour Party’s Lunchtime lecture, Mr Ince said many Barbadians are eagerly waiting to get back what they deserve.
