President of the Barbados Cancer Society Dr. Dorothy Cooke-Johnson is pleased with the competency of local doctors who are tasked with treating children with cancer.
Speaking at the Christ Church West Lions Club presentation to the Barbados Cancer Society at its headquarters this morning Dr. Cooke-Johnson said though some children in the advanced stages of cancer have to be sent overseas for treatment, a good job is done in Barbados to ensure they receive the best treatment.
