BRA blames a flood of last minute tax filers for a log jam in their online systems

The Barbados Revenue Authority blames a flood of last minute tax filers for a log jam in their online systems prompting an outcry from those people who could not get on.

The BRA’s Manager of Communications Carolyn Williams Gayle  explained the issues.

Mrs. Williams-Gayle gave the assurance that those who were unable to file through no fault of their own, won’t be penalised.

Meantime, scores of people created long lines outside the BRA city office today as they had to turn up to try to file in person after not being able to do so online.

They vented their frustration.
