The three men apprehended by police during an exercise last have been remanded to prison after appearing in court today.

Rashad Mathurin, of no fixed place of abode; Renaldo Griffith, of Fitts Gap, Westbury Road; and Shaquille  Edwards, of 4th Avenue Pickwick Gap, both in St Michael, were not required to plead to the indictable offences of having a gun and 38 bullets without a valid licence, on January 24.

Mathurin was also accused of driving a car along 2nd Avenue Harts Gap, Christ Church without a valid driver’s licence or insurance, also on January 24. He was also not required to plead to the indictable offences and acting Magistrate Anika Jackson ordered them to return on February 25.
