The new school term began yesterday with very few hitches. That’s according to Parliamentary Sectary in the Ministry of Education, Senator Harry Husbands.
Senator Husbands says although some schools did not re-open on the scheduled September 11th date because repairs are being done on some schools, everything is running smoothly at the remainder schools.
His comments came during an inspection of the St Bartholomew’s Primary School yesterday.
Senator Husbands said those schools that are undergoing repairs are expected to re-open between this week and next week.
