A 15 year old school girl has been charged in connection with last week’s violent attack on a classmate.
The incident, which involved a Lester Vaughn School girl being chased by a number of students and kicked about the body as she lay on the ground, was filmed and caused widespread condemnation when it was circulated on social media.
The 15 year old girl was arrested yesterday and is charged with ‘assault occasioning actual bodily harm. She is expected to reappear in Court on Thursday.
The Daily Nation newspaper reports that other students are expected to face similar charges.
