Commerce Minister Dwight Sutherland is encouraging retailers to lower prices more following the removal of the NSRL.
Speaking this morning as he toured Massy Stores Supercentre at Warrens, St. Michael, he said food prices, though not at the levels they were before July 1st this year when the NSRL was removed, are still high. Mr. Sutherland says while he knows increased freight costs are a factor he would like to see prices come down further.
