Several people were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after a panel van and an ambulance collided along Lower Collymore Rock, St. Michael.
The incident which occurred just before midday resulted in the ambulance which was headed to the QEH, being knocked onto its side.
The Fire Service said eight officers with two tenders from the Bridgetown and Worthing stations responded to the accident.
