Claiming lack of a water supply is a potential health risk, the Barbados Water Authority has significantly loosened its regulations governing applications to get a water connection, to now permit people who don’t own the land to do so.
Minister of Water Resources Wilfred Abrahams made the announcement as the estimates continued, calling it the single most important thing he has done since becoming minister.
