COVID-19 Czar says Bajans “hard ears” as country records another case

One more person tested positive for COVID-19 in Barbados.

Results returned by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory today revealed that a 24-year-old man who was identified through contact tracing was the only positive case out of 22 tests carried out on Sunday.

That brings the total number of COVID-19 positive patients now in isolation to 34.

This was disclosed by Minister of Health Lieutenant Colonel Jeffery Bostic, on March 30th, on national television.

Meanwhile, health officials have reported that the majority of persons who have been diagnosed have very mild symptoms, and thus far, only two are in acute care.

COVID-19 Czar Richard Carter complains that “hard ears” Barbadians are not complying with the emergency order restrictions and threatens an extension of the measures if they do not comply.
