COVID-19 cases now 33 in Barbados

Barbados now has 33 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of seven since the previous update on March 27, 2020.

Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anton Best, made the disclosure on Voice of Barbados’ Brass Tacks Sunday call-in programme.

Attorney General Dale Marshall reports no major issues as an 8pm to 6am curfew went into effect from last night.

But he has a few concerns.

Mr. Marshall is encouraging Barbadians to stay at home unless they have essential business to transact but stresses that people are not prohibited from moving about, including going to the beach. And the prohibition of church gatherings has also been relaxed to allow streaming of services, provided no more than three people are present.
